Your Czechia career starts with a genuine offer — and an honest wait.

The Employee Card is a real work-and-residence permit, and Czechia is hiring. The real limit is the New Delhi embassy's capped 1,560 appointments a year under Decree No. 415/2025 — we check that first.

The journey

Vacancy to residence in five stages

01
Employer leads · Before offer

Registered vacancy & offer

A Czech employer offers a role on the central vacancy register — we verify the employer's identity and vacancy reference against official registers before you proceed.

Your action: provide the offer & vacancy reference for verification
Output: a confirmed registered vacancy & offer
Common risk: an unregistered vacancy or unverifiable employer
02
Authority allocates · Before offer

Programme & appointment wait

The real bottleneck: 1,560 Delhi slots a year, allocated by the consulate itself — treat any "guaranteed slot" offer outside this process as fraud.

Your action: wait for programme allocation — nothing to pay to skip
Output: a confirmed embassy appointment slot
Common risk: "guaranteed slot" scams outside the official process
03
You lead · Before filing

Documents & nostrification

Passport, contract, qualification proof, translations, and — for regulated professions — nostrification; we confirm the exact list before filing.

Your action: gather documents; complete nostrification if regulated
Output: a complete, translated document file
Common risk: missing nostrification for regulated professions
04
You file · Before travel

Embassy filing & decision

The statutory decision takes ~60 days (extendable to ~90), but that excludes the quota/appointment wait, so the honest total is often several months or longer.

Your action: file at the embassy once your slot is allocated
Output: Employee Card decision (statutory ~60–90 days)
Common risk: assuming the 60–90 day window is the full timeline
05
Authority finalises · After arrival

Arrival & biometrics

Post-arrival biometrics and registration finalise residence status, and we stay in contact rather than handing you off once the card is issued.

Your action: attend post-arrival biometrics & registration
Output: finalised residence status
Common risk: missing registration deadlines after arrival

Czechia FAQs

Delhi quota

Why is the wait so long?

The New Delhi quota — since July 2025, the embassy has capped Employee Card applications at 1,560/year across two programmes, so appointment availability, not eligibility, is usually the limiting factor.

Slot scams

Can I get a guaranteed appointment slot faster?

No — anyone selling a guaranteed Delhi appointment outside the embassy's own allocation process is committing fraud. We verify your enrolment and give honest wait-time guidance, but cannot buy or guarantee a slot.

Timeline

How long does it really take?

The statutory decision is 60 days, extendable to ~90 — but that excludes the quota and appointment wait. Budget several months, often longer.

Family reunification

Can my family come with me?

Potentially, later, once your Employee Card status is established — family reunification has its own criteria, assessed per case.
